I wasnโt sure quite how far my run would be today - I didnโt get my 10k done last weekend due to feeling a achey after my covid booster. I opted for staying in and being dry instead!
This morning I told my husband I was off for a a 5/7k, maybe a bit further but maybe not..! ๐คทโโ๏ธ To be honest though, as soon as I set foot out of the door, I knew I was going further - funny how that happens sometimes. ๐
It helps, of course, that this is my favourite time of year and itโs just so beautiful running on the trails near my home. Part of my route is still blocked by an enormous fallen oak and requires climbing through a hedgerow to get around it! ๐ฎ Also, a field I ran through which looked lovely as I entered, turned out to be very rutted still under the lush autumn grass - and very wet! None of this detracted from the overall run - 11k done and back home feeling so lucky to have this thing called โrunningโ in my life!๐๐โโ๏ธ
Happy running this week everyone.

A lovely run in a lovely day Sandra. Well done for beating the obstacles . I had my booster yesterday afternoon and feel very weary today. Hope it doesnโt last long.
Couldnโt agree more! Iโve just come back from a 6k that turned into 7. Itโs so mild out there today, and a bit drizzly (only runners appreciate drizzle ๐), and the autumn colours are glorious. I run in the town but even so, there are things to look at all around ๐ ๐. Thereโs nothing like a deliciously long slow run ๐ Now shower and back to work!
