That's a brilliant pace and an around super achievement well done πππ₯³
Thank you π
Brilliant run for you Clairer6873, however, this is the wrong forum, this forum is for runners who have ran at least 10 miles or more, if you post your run report to the Bridge 210K forum, tell the administrators that you have ran your first 10K, then you will see the words Graduate10 next to your username.
I think she's already got that badge.
Sorry, my bad. I thought this is where people posted when on the journey to longer runs, hence mine over 10km (although only just!)
Welcome to the forum Claire! You are most definitely in the right place. We are here to encourage anyone on their journey beyond 10k and anyone interested in events/races of any length. You should spot lots of familiar 'faces' who are also planning to aim for 10 miles. Read around the pinned posts for information, join in the weekly chat and write your own posts to let us know how it's going or to ask for info or support. Above all, enjoy your journey to 10 miles - it's a great distance π
Congrats, Clairer on aceiving your longest run to date! I'm sure you'll be able to do 11k and it seems that your journey to 10 miles is going well.
Well done! You're on your way to 10 miles. From this point, just keep extending little by little each week.
Thank you! I'd love to get there! ππ»ββοΈ
It's definitely possible. I did my first 10km in early February this year and my first 10 mile run about six weeks later.
Wow, thats brilliant π I'm sure it'll take me longer than 6 weeks but I'm really hoping to get there!ππ»ββοΈ
Well done great achievement on your way to 10 miles brilliant π π keep going you'll be running that half marathon before you no it, just keep extending them miles it's all about distance not speed, I entered my first official 10k race last week only been running since January ran my PB for 10k 57.55 how fantastic I felt anyway keep it up and smash itπͺπͺππ..
Awesome! 10 miles is in your future, 100% Claire! πππ
Well done Claire - and yes, you are definitely in the right place! π I post here and on the Bridge to 10kβ¦and still love popping on to Couch to 5K sometimes too! Thatβs a great run and a fab pace for your 10k! 10 miles is a good goal.
Top tip for the first time you run a bit further - drop your pace a little. It will really make a difference and your pace can become more of a focus once that distance is consolidated.
Happy running! π
Great pace. If you can do 10km at that speed then 16km a little slower will be around in 6 to 8 weeks if you just add a little a week. And every week you'll set a new distance record!
