Family returned home.Boys back in school.Unfortunately son in law tested +ve now with Delta variant and is now isolating for a further 10days.( PHE).He is able to continue working from home.

The grandparents are at home in a 14 days ( PHW) isolation and are trying to have my wife’s already cancelled procedure reinstated.Even if we both test -ve tomorrow there is no guarantee this decision is going to be overturned.

When you find yourself in a hole just stop digging.I need to chill and accept we all did our best and things are what they are and are going to be what they will be.

First and only important thing is for our bubble of 2+5 to all get safely out of isolation with no lasting symptoms.

Stuff will have to wait.Never too old to learn.
