It was supposed to be an 18k continuous but I got a later start 0630.Weather blowing a hooley 47 mph.So was up against the wind at the start and on the way home.A welcome push in the middle section.Decided to pull out after a few glitches at road crossing and watch. All in all its progress. Will try 18k chunked next run 9.

Congratulations on running that 16.66km run in that very strong wind, many runners prefer rain to wind.Another early start for you Tbae, well done, onwards and upwards to that 18K in better weather.
By the way, yesterday I ran my 49th not parkrun along the prom at Helensburgh, same place as my graduation run, ha, no guy this time saying, gonn yersef when I turned back at around 3K into the run. 🏃🏾 😉
Tbae, I remember way back in the early 1960's going to Helensburgh early on a Sunday morning on a "blue train" and having a walk along that promenade, but it was on the way back that there were mobs of people from certain parts of Glasgow going to Helensburgh for a day trip, I was going back home but all the trains on a Sunday going to Helensburgh were packed with people, six coach trains, goodness knows what it was like in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday on that prom with all those people there, hardly any space for walking, let alone running, let's face it, Helensburgh has NOT got miles of golden sand.
Thanks IP. Next run I am going to try my first chunked HM.3 chunks. That will address my little shortfall in my weekly target of 36k.Stay well.🏃♀️🌟🌟👏👏❤️💪🙏💫⚡️
