Since the HUHM I’ve been running 10 miles on a Friday for the longest of my 3 runs to improve my stamina supposedly from 12k onwards whilst the timings are still much of a muchness I do feel stronger. As I push to complete LEJOG04- now just 45 miles to go I have a plan worked out to achieve the last 5k at John ‘O Groats as long as the restrictions stay as they are or better.
I love running the COGH relay and think it’s fantastic how far we have ran as a team. So from home this morning I’m virtually running on the East Coast of Scotland 🏴 and running in Egypt towards Sudan 🇸🇩 whilst physically running in lovely surroundings of canals and by the side of ploughed fields in South Cheshire - amazing 🤩
Happy running everyone 🏃🏻♀️😊

Great effort all these different events at the same time. My COGH tshirts arrived this morning and I'm wearing them with pride. Are you planning an actual last 5k? The weather just now is amazing in Scotland, 17deg in my garden. Happy running 🤗
Of course after I posted the sea breezes picked up and brrrr. I really hope you get your amazing last 5k on location, what an amazing way to end the challenge.
I just felt I was training to get the HM and then I’d go back to 10k so I was never building strength and stamina up and so was always starting up again in my mind- always a chance to let the gremlins in so I decided for the 4 weeks after the HM I’d do the 10miles each week. 🏃🏻♀️
