Hi everyone : Still managing to run... - Fun Beyond 10K & ...
Hi everyone
I’m so relieved to hear that you’re still getting out and running Paul. Keeping them enjoyable by running your way and forgetting pace sounds exactly the right thing to do. Keep it up, for you and your lovely wife.
And keep posting won’t you? You know you have friends here. 🥰
Hi Paul, that’s great you’re still able to get out to run. The distance and times are not important, just being outside is enough to recharge batteries and hopefully give you a little breather. Your wife must be so pleased that you’re still running.
Take care Paul and keep running and just remember you are both in our thoughts 🥰
Those three or four runs will be doing you so much good! Especially running them by feel as you are. We're all thinking of you.
Thanks everyone for all your kind messages
Hi Paul 👋
It’s good that you’re still getting out to run 😃. Just run and don’t worry about about how fast. You’ll be doing yourself good and maintaining fitness, plus the benefits of being outdoors and away from the house for a while. Give yourself some fresh air and headspace 🙂🏃♂️👍
Is all easy to say but got to much on my mind with my wifes illness it's so hard
I'm sure it is hard. Very hard. Although running is never going to make all that worry disappear, it will help take the edge of it a little; creating silent but powerful, positive endorphins to counteract some of the anxiety and negativity. It may be hard to notice but I am sure it is helping you - and your wife too - albeit in a small way compared to the bigger picture you are dealing with.
You’re so strong Paul! And well done on keeping running. Slow running is actually much better for you anyway and makes you a stronger runner in the end 😊 Thoughts with your always 👍🏽
Hi Paul, well done for getting out the door, it doesn't matter if you end up running or walking.
