Morning everyone : Just done w5r1 again... - Fun Beyond 10K & ...
Morning everyone
Just keep doing what you are doing...slow, steady, step by step.. you are getting there, and doing wonderfully.
Just like when you started running...take one day at a time.x
At difficult times like these we need time to step out of our situation so we can see the wood for the trees Running affords you that head space to get away from things, if only for a while
When we’re immersed in tough situations it’s hard to see our way clear. Keeping yourself fit is going to be an important for both of you. The last thing you need is for your health to break down Exercise helps with mood and positivity, so getting outside every day will do you good. Also, it will enable you to sleep better
Hang in there and take each day as it comes 🙂
Thank you but while am running am still thinking and it's so so hard I realy dont know how am going to get through this
Hi Paul - I can hear how tough things are for you at the moment. I just wondered what support are you getting? Do you have family near? Could you speak to your Gp or wife's specialist about support groups? (not right for everyone, I know but just thought I'd mention it).
I think it's great that you are getting out running - do keep running when you can. As Oldfloss says, one day at a time.x
Thank you
You’re doing great Paul and we’re all thinking of you
Hang in there Paul. You’ll get through this. All you can worry about is whats in front of you right now, so just take each day as it comes and try to stay fit to be strong for your wife and yourself.
Have you tried listening to an audio book as opposed to music while running? A book requires more concentration than music (or listening to nothing at all) and I find concentrating on the story stops me thinking about other stuff.
Always be aware of your surroundings though - One headphone in, one out or Aftershokz bone conducting headphones are great.
Where do you live Paul?
Stalybridge why
