Hi everyone, along with a number of others on here Iโm doing the virtual Lands End to John OโGroats challenge๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
So far things are going well and I passed the 50 mile mark this morning๐ Iโm going to try to do it all by running๐ค Thatโs fine at the moment while the weatherโs OK and I can work from home, but Iโm not sure whether itโs feasible when I return to the office๐ณ
Iโll post progress reports on here from time to time, especially when I get more postcards๐
Good luck everyone doing LEJOG, we can do this!

Congratulations on getting to 50 miles on LEJOG4, while the weather is nice you can run, however, perhaps later in the year you could do some walking as well.
Thanks AlMorr, I really want to run it all if I possibly can!๐โโ๏ธ๐ค Luckily I have every Wednesday off these days as Iโm part time (by choice now my mortgage is repaid!) so I have a bit more flexibility than most of our VRBs๐
Woohoo well done David! You got your postcard pronto. I passed 50 miles on Sunday and only received mine yesterday, 11 miles later. But itโs here now. ๐
Itโs fun isnโt it? I canโt wait to leave the A30, but the M5 is going be long too I fear! I ran 10 miles this morning which boosted my total to 71 ish. Next goal, sub 800 miles to go! ๐คฃ
Happy running. (Iโm counting runs and walks) ๐
Thanks CCM, I love this challenge! I think the A30 is over 100 miles long, so Iโm about halfway there๐
Iโve created myself a whizzy spreadsheet to store all my data. It changes colours depending on how Iโm doing against my self-imposed targets, which Iโm hoping will keep me motivated!๐
Thanks GTFC Iโm really enjoying it, and the postcards are a great incentive. Like many others Iโve seen on Strava, Iโve ordered a wall map of the UK so I can plot my route. I can also print off the postcards as I get them and add them to my wall map!๐๐
