I read a post on here a few days ago about the Lands End to John O’ Groats virtual run, and I’ve signed up! It looks like great fun, run/walk the length of the UK, 874 miles, the event starts on the 17th August and you have 12months to complete it. What I really liked, apart from the finishers medal and t-shirt 😃, is the interactive virtual map so you can see how far you’ve run 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ and the digital postcards to keep you entertained and motivated.

Is anyone else interested in joining? A big asked but are our lovely administrators willing to set up a Strava group so we can all keep each other motivated?

Happy running. 😃

There is a group on Bridge for this challenge:

Also, I believe there is a Strava group for those who have signed up with endtoend?

But you could set up a Strava group yourself - it is very easy! xxx

I’ve signed up Kiwipie. It sounds like a lot of fun, and I’m hopeful I’ll be able to complete it with my running and dog walks. It’s nice to have an end goal, and support from others is important for me too. 😀

The fun element appeals to me too and like you a combo of running and walking should help to clock up the miles. Good luck with the challenge and see you in John O’ Groats. 😄

You got me at T-shirt! Not sure why I get suckered in by t-shirts - I think it's relentless optimism that one day I will earn one that fits and that I like!!! Off to spend some more money - virtual spending is OK, right? 🤪
