Hm - 6mins better than last week

Was only meant to do 16k on grass to see if it made any difference to my foot. I was still sore and still have to stretch every so often but just not as sore. Who cares about that. I knocked 6mins off last week and ended up doing a few hills that where bigger too. 😁

Congratulations on running your second half marathon JL, knocked off 6 minutes off your first, excellent, perhaps on a Sunday morning running a HM will become the normal, however, I think running that distance would be better every two weeks, I wouldn't want you to get injured., nice to see Half Marathon next to your username 😊 πŸƒπŸΎ πŸŽ“.

Today was only meant to be a test on 10miles on grass. We both felt OK at 16 then found a wee trail which we decided to investigate. Lol going into marathon training from Monday and let's see how far I get

Thankyou. I'm going ro try, I do suspect it may be too much or I'll get bored with it. But then again I said HM was beyond me

Wow! 6 mins in huge over the distance! Well done for getting out there and sticking with it. Those last few miles are tough. Well done. Rest up now and take it easy!

Thanks. Wee stroll with the kids just to stay loose I think. I want to eat for ireland lol. Think I may have been too causious last week or cause I had company this week. Don't know. Marathon plan starts Monday and I'm going to start at week 1 so a few lower mile runs for a few weeks. The fact that I'm considering doing the marathon plan never mind running 2 hm in weekly succusion is a miracle in its self.

Give it your best shot. No ifs and buts then. Good luck and HM distance is a terrific achievement in it's own right.
