A spot of pre-HM retail therapy!

I was getting sore toes on my long runs so I popped into my local sports shop for a bit of advice - and guess what I came out with?! Another pair of Altras! Seems the pair I bought online not that long ago are too short for me - and there I was feeling so smug I got them for a bargain price! Not such a bargain after all. Oh well, they will do for walking the dogs! Also got myself some proper running socks (OMG the price!) and some Runderwear undershorts (online, not in the shop). Think that's me kitted out for my HM now, just got to get another job to pay for it all!!

Oo nice. I save my Hilly socks for best because they are an eye-watering price. They're good though! My Hilly marathon socks are my faves. Same with the Runderwear—it cost a bomb so for events only 😂 I'm such a miser.

I feel the same way - posh socks and knicks for events only! Got to try them out tonight though to make sure they are comfy! 😁

Nice swag! Runderwear always makes me think of the voice of scooby doo....😂... I think it was roseabi ‘s fault, a post she did with a picture of scooby doo on it.....can’t get the voice out of my head now......🤪

Yes the Hilly's are fab, so soft. First time I've splashed out on posh running socks - all my others are cheapoes from Sports Direct but my toes are starting to push holes in them all! Got to have proper socks for a proper grown up race! 😊
