I had a frustrating week running-wise. Between late work nights, parents' meetings and a vomiting dog, time was distinctly lacking. So I headed out today to see where I got to, no stress, no pressure and I was pleased to find 14k come easily. I wanted to carry on but my phone was running out of battery and I really wanted my first 10 mile run to be recorded for prosperity : )
I ran very slowly and carefully but was pleased that my breathing was very easy, just sore calves at the beginning (but for less time than last week).
Onwards and upwards

It's frustrating when life gets in the way of running (I had one of those weeks too btw!) Sounds as though all is going well for your HM training though. Well done on your 14k run. 👍
At first I didn't know which one vomited, so "luckily" big dog vomited his breakfast up as well.
He had eaten some foam from one of their mattresses that they ripped up. There was so much of it about that I didn't realise he'd eaten some (they like to "dig" in the mattress and ended up making a hole, which they opened up to a world of fun with mattress foam).
He threw some of it up and the rest has come out the other end since lol
Vet said all good and the mattress is in the rubbish
I did my first 12k nearly a month ago, consolidated twice, then moved up a bit.
I used my app to "smooth out" the GPS trace and it lowered the route to 13k, I ran 14.3 in all trying to outdo GPS mistakes, so I am hoping the truth lies somewhere around 14k lol
