Steadying the ship alright.Full astern, iceberg sited.

Lower back beginning to complain. Will back off and just do light movement.Nothing strenuous.See how I tick along.Gosh how you need your core strength to trot. You miss that when things are delicate and fragile.

Stay safe all.

How's your training going, Tbae?

Not good mrrun. Did a 12.5 k and a speed challenge sprint last week.My planned 30 k trot is going to have to wait.Afraid I am going to have to revisit my plan for May and buy me sometime.

Mr Garden is pleased but my back does not share that pleasure. My head is OK with stuff, so that’s alright.

Take care and stay safe.

I know how it fells when lower back doesn't like what l do. I had issues in the past, some 4-5 years ago, but managed to control them with loads of exercises, planks being more helpful than anything. However, we all react differently to same exercises and my wife's issues at the time got worse through those same planks that helped me.

Take it easy, stay patient and careful, the right moment will come again.

Thanks mrrun. Yes planks great. But have not been doing them.πŸ™ˆJust be going along relying on all the garden stuff to look after me and it has.Yes I will stay patient and wait for a return of relative superpower.β˜„οΈ

Your garden work is taking it's toll I think Tbae, backs don't like heavy work.

The tree stump, all the clearing. Have you started to paint that garage floor yet too?

Sorry that it's playing you up now, you know what you need to do.

I feel and understand your frustration though...😚🌷xxx

BackacheπŸ˜– horrible. I like a bit of yoga. There are some tiny yoga moves that help

Not humping stuff around the garden helps too πŸ™‚. Lay off digging too as that upsets things.

Just try and keep moving as best you can. Soaks in Epsom salts are lovely πŸ›

Yes I will do everything you advise MW.❀️

Only hurts when getting up from a seated position, standing tall and btw when I laugh.πŸ™ˆπŸ€£

So solution is keep standing tall and laugh like a drain.πŸ™ˆπŸ€£πŸ€£

Yes Jan,❀️ hoping a few days will help.

Very fortunate, got a young runner friend in his twenties to come to the rescue.

He is painting the floors now and will continue as and when with the heavy work.⭐️πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ‘

I suppose you could call it a contactless experience Jan.Like the magic forum.πŸ’₯

I am watering the garden boundary hedges, just moving a wand in 5 min intervals.Cut and edge the lawn.Old mans stuff Jan.πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Onwards and upwards.β˜„οΈπŸ™

Crying tears, or muscle tears....

I'm glad you chose to go easy. We don't want muscle or tendon damage during the speed challenge!

I have a damaged lower back from decades ago so I can say core strength exercises are very helpful.

Stay safe. Keep well. Keep smiling. KOKO!

You’ve been so busy with the garden Tbae. My back almost always plays up when I work on the garden.

Love the post from Mr Rogers, very true.

Hope you've caught the back twinge early enough that with a few days of strengthening exercises it eases off so you can get back to both the running and the gardening very soon πŸ€žπŸ™‚
