Have had a great week with my garden project to achieve reduced maintenance.

Also got my first two 200m sprints done for Abi’s SFSC.51 and 43 seconds.Hoping to get into the 30 seconds band and also crunch 5x200m=Ikm sub 4min all from standing starts.

So great until this morning Monday the 13th.Planned to do my first 30k in the garden.Up at 0500 to make an early start for this long trot.

Got the usual warm up routine done and just about to start, trolley bin boxes broken and toppled.Sorted that, trotted a km and saw garden furniture on rear lawn toppled.Paused sorted that and resumed for another km.

Thought to myself this is supposed to be 30 km of enjoyment. Not thinking about what else am I going to find.Abort, find out, switch plan.Do another day in the garden and go for the 30k trot tomorrow.

Good decision.Found I had to clean up the road with all our rubbish and the winding parasol is smashed and not repairable, even dislodge a patio paver.

It’s not life or limb but it’s a lesson to me.Firstly I should have sorted this stuff better the evening before, self inflicted, but secondly I have to get better at putting set backs behind me.

So up tomorrow early, get up, get out and get on.Remember JuJu saying that on bridge.

My Mantra remains Enjoy and Stay home safe.

Never got passed the first hurdle “Enjoy” this morning, Ho Hum I can say that now I have cooled down,I am pleased I aborted rather than continue with a completely frazzled and scrambled single brain cell.

Stay safe everyone.

I went to bed early last night for an early run this morning. Got up at 12.30 because I could hear something banging in the back garden. Was worried that the parasol wd tip and go through the window so I trotted down, slalomed through all the cats who thought it was early breakfast, took the parasol down and also took the pond vac tubes off the roof of the greenhouse ( where son had left them to dry out) because they were rattling and then went back to bed.

4.00am I was up again because the airing cupboard doors ( in corner of my bedroom) were making a weird noise and then remembered that I’d left top window in bathroom and spare room open, because it had been so hot the previous night, which causes a through draft and makes the cupboard doors noisy. It sounds like someone with rubber soles shoes on a tiled floor. Odd I know!!

Back to bed and slept through 6.00 alarm so ran at 8.35 instead 🙄.

It was a wild night and still quite windy now.

Well done you LL.

I should have at least dropped the parasol.🙈

Good that you have got good acute hearing.👍👏👏

I am laughing now, must be getting deaf as a post or a short course of death through the night.🙈😂😂

Great you got your run.

Stay safe.

Morning! Windy, stormy night ey! I had to get up and close the Velux. All manner of debris was blowing in onto my bed. Bah

My husband fortunately took down the umbrella. He'd only just dug it out the shed We did manage a cuppa tea under it. Holiday over Ha ha

I've not been down the my garden yet. I left stuff all over the place as I was cleaning greenhouses. So I expect to have to retrieve plastic pots and trays from the local neighbourhood. Good game!

So, wheelie bin slalom run aborted til tomorrow. Oh well, you know you couldn't concentrate on it so best left til you can tackle it head on. Hopefully the weather will be cooler but not windy. It was very windy on my run this morning. Much colder too but that was not a problem as I had my trusty Aldi merino top on

Good luck for Round 2 tomorrow. Hope you got all sorted out and order restored. Firing on all cylinders tomorrow!
