I keep going on about how much I appreciate having Madingley Hall in my doorstep. I’m conscious many of us are locked down in cities and don’t have this luxury, but I hope you enjoy the pictures at least.
This one’s taken in the walled garden, and is a lovely place to be on a hot summers day.
Today’s run was meant to be 50mins easy, but somehow turned into 57mins. 9.5km....

I might have to get over there, the pathways near me seem to be getting a tad ‘busy’, it’s really easy to pick out those who are not normally on these tracks.....much that I have no issue with sharing, and I think I’m moving fast enough not to cause any risk to anyone else, or them to me........(e.g I’m certainly not stopping for a chat....👋..) I really hope we don’t hit total lock down
Ok - best come down church lane then go the the churchyard gate. There’s a way through to church lane on trails from Dry Drayton / Childerley if you fancy a long run, or the blue bridge at Hardwick is another route. 😎👍🏃♂️
It looks a fabulous place to run and your recovery is going well, you've shown great patience give or take the odd 7 minutes 😍. I'm finding everything outdoors seems'heightened' by the sudden upturn in the weather, and the seemingly daily downturn in our current situation. Really great to be able to get out there and appreciate it.
