Not feeling the love running wise

I have been on anti depressants for two weeks due to anxiety due to work in that I no longer want to do my job anymore and feeling trapped. I have as a result not done much running or to reply to Lordi not done whatever it was I was supposed to have done. Can't find the post to reply to.

Sorry to hear that. If you could somehow get out there, a run might lift your spirits. I hope the job situation resolves itself soon

Thank you. Only thing that would make me happy would for my hubby to say that I can hand my notice in. Don't want to not work jusy not where I am. Need some time off. Obviously I would have to cut down on the events I do. Only got 3 booked next year.

Hope the anti depressants start to help soon Pippa49, and runs start to give you a lift. Big 🤗 from VRBs.

Thank you. Been told that it could be a few more weeks before I notice any difference

Oh Pippa....take care of yourself...let the medication work and then maybe a gentle walk...as Hidden says... it may help to just get out and let things settle x

Ah sorry about that. I asked how your marathon went (before realising the post was about a forthcoming event in 2020! Doh) I deleted the post immediately when I noticed.

I find running helps me put my own work issues (crap) in context to a certain degree. I`m always glad I have it as a bit of therapy to rely on. Look after yourself and keep up the running!

No worries. I am supposed to be doing the Brighton half in February but not sure if I still want to do it. I will see if I can defer.

Depression is horrible. I read "Running is my Therapy" by Scott Douglas which I found a great help in getting to grips with the "Black Dog". Take Care out There.

I hope those meds help soon Pippa. Baby steps, but as others have said if you can get outdoors - even for a short while - fresh air and nature can add their healing too. Here's to brighter times just around the corner.

Thank you. I wasn't planning to go swimming this morning (Sunday) but I was awake so ended up going. Currently having a post swim coffee and toast

Fabulous start to the day - you took control of your Sunday 🙂. I can almost smell the coffee and toast 🙂

Bless you, hope it turns a corner for you soon. I'm fighting the black dog and the anxiety witch too just now, hampered by the feet issues I have meaning I can't use my normal methods to beat it... we can do it though, we know we can 💪🏻👍🏻😁

A crap job is so demoralising. I know you were struggling before, maybe have a look around at anything else, not even in the same field, just for a break...🤞🏻
