My first ever running shoes have come to the end of the road - luckily I have another pair of the same ready to go!

They do look like old friends. Will you keep them for gardening, DIY etc? I bet the new ones feel amazing.😃

I don't think I'll be able to bear to throw them away so will have to find something to do with them. Haven't taken the new ones out yet, too muddy so I've been in my trail shoes.

Very well worn, reminds me it’s time for me to replace mine

It seems no time since I first put them on, but when you put them side by side it's very obvious how much they've done.

I really like them - light and flexible while still supportive.

Oooh lovely new shoes 🥰

What model are they?

I bought some bargain bin Saucony’s but I really don’t like them. I adored Kinvara 5 but sadly no longer around 🙁.

Saucony liberty ISO 2 - I remember when I put them on how light and free they felt on my feet. I particularly like the way the Iso tongue fits over the top of the foot, much smoother than a standard tongue. I had a few calf niggles at the start as they're pretty low drop (4mm I think) but with insoles in they're a delight.

The tongue on my unloved Saucony’s are stupidly short. Quite why they thought it a good design idea defeats me ☹️ I do like a 4 mm drop meself 🙂

Great photo! I am soon to swap my Hoka Arahi’s for an identical pair that have been patiently waiting in the wings!👟Enjoy!🙂

That's a big difference! Let's hope the second pair serve you as well. Here's to many happy miles in them 😊

Ah the worn ones are like old friends though, aren’t they? I have a hard time parting with mine too.

It seems mean to abandon them after such faithful service but I have been having a few knee niggles so I'm pretty sure it's time. Maybe I'll use them for gardening...
