I’m still on a long recovery programme, which means missing out on the Cambridge Boundary Run next weekend, and the Cambridge HM the following week. However I should be back out doing longer runs in a few weeks, so was looking for a good long mountain trail event with a generous cut off around mid-April, to tide me over until the Silva 3 day mountain marathon on the May bank holiday weekend.

And I found this: limitlesstrails.co.uk/event...

A 20mile event on 18th April with an 8 hour cut off, so I should be able to hobble around it even if I’m still not 100% mountain fit. It’s also a good opportunity to try out the camping kit I need to take for the 3day event.

Always nice to have a new challenge to look forward to!

Crikey. Mad by name and mad by nature. That's a recovery programme? 😨😨😨

Much respect to you for even considering it 😂

Ok it sounds a bit mad, but you get 8 hours to do 20 miles, so it’s possible to walk it....
