I realized it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. Slowly coming back to life. Bit cold here today with around 15cm of snow yesterday, and these are just a few pics of my Saturday solo afternoon run in the snow. It was much harder than I remember the heavy snow runs to be. Maybe 1.5x the effort for a regular run? but great opportunity to enjoy the snow covered trees and icy waters. Have a lovely week everyone.

Wow - lovely photos Decker! I'm kind of jealous you get to run in that beautiful snow but also understand how tough and COLD it must be too! Great run - well done!🙂
It’s nice to see an update from you. Great photos! We’re getting the snow today here. All that extra effort will payoff in the long run.😀
brrrrrrrrr Decker ...beautiful but freezing?!! Lovely to have you back, we’ve missed you!!!
I think you're very brave! Especially doing that solo 😨
I would like to try running in proper snow, but I bet it would be a one and done! Well done xxx
Chilly!!
Nice to see a post from you Decker. It looks like a great snowy run! I can't wait to get back at it myself 🤞
Thanks Sask, yes has been awhile. Hope you are doing well. Much colder where you are I think! Maybe snowmobiling instead. I did use my snowmobile mitts which were toasty but not camera friendly
We’ve been in a nasty deep freeze lately and just got some snow back again but nothing like you guys have out East. Unfortunately I haven’t been running or snowmobiling lately due to conflicting work schedules and some health issues but I see my doctor in a couple weeks and will hopefully get the go ahead to start training for my HM in June 🤞.
I think we’d come to a standstill here if we had 15cm of snow 🙀 but it does look so pretty although I’d be scared to run in it in case there was ice underneath. I’m such a snow wimp ❄️☹️
Good for you Decker for conquering the elements 💪🏃
You are wise IP. I almost took yet another spill at the base of a hill with hidden ice patches under the snow. Yeah, if there are no systems for heavy snow like plows and salters at the ready then things would slow like they did recently in Vancouver. Many cars were stuck on the hills last night before the plows got to them.
Ooooo beautiful Decker! Whereabouts are you in Canada (you are in Canada aren’t you?). I used to live in New England and we had brutally cold and snowy winters too, but I wasn’t running then. 🏃♀️ ❄️
Wow that is extreme Decker!you are one tough runner!lovely to see your pictures x
Brrrrrrrrr..... Blooming super run and photographs too.. ! You are obviously enjoying it despite the hard work.., I imagine you need to take care out there though.. especially running solo... x
