Has anyone else signed up for RED January and/or Dry January?

I’m really using both as a key part of my HM prep.

Having read more about it, I see you don't have to actually run, but simply have to be active every day. Yoga counts too, so now I'm in! I won't fundraise, but will make a donation to our local Mind 😍

I don’t run every day. My HM program needs “rest” days so then it’s yoga and a walk. But I am enjoying consciously doing something every day!

I never RED (run every day) as a basic precaution against injury, but the dry january (moist anyway) is something I am doing as part of a weight-loss effort this year to knock 20-30 mins off my marathon PB.

I don’t run every day either- a lot of the RED community are doing Realistic Exercise Daily for that exact reason (me included). I did double yoga yesterday as its key to help my running and allow rest/recovery. Great target on marathon. Im aiming for my first half!

Superb! I am... I passed my one year sober anniversary in December 2019 which I am over the moon about and I will continue. I hope it goes well for you...

I'm a REDer, trying my best to run everyday. I'm quite conscious about running everyday so my rest day runs are only 1k-2k, very slow and with a number of walking intervals a kin to week 1 of C25K. I also try to encourage my 5yr old to join me on them ones as he's always asking to run, so that always ensures I keep things steady.
