...but it was just what I needed apart from that! It was so flooded in places and ridiculously muddy too - one minute I was upright, the next ..I wasn't! Nice soft landing though! Happy running everyoneππββοΈ

...oh, yes - I should have done! And it was a nice hot shower. Thank goodness for the downstairs shower room - saves muddy clothes being traipsed through the house!π
It would have been even better fun (for us) if you could have shown us a photo Sandra! Glad youβre ok though, and enjoyed your muddy run! πββοΈππ
It was, Stephen - and as wet and muddy as I hoped! They had also been repairing a wooden footbridge I run over and had driven a vehicle/trailer along part of the bridleway which had resulted in a very wide, churned up muddy path!!
I lost my mum shortly before Christmas some years ago, and I still feel the absence though it does ease, of course. Outdoor running is a good antidote!
Hope you are ok? Iβve fallen over the last two Saturdays in the woods. I think itβs all the hidden rocks and roots under the leaves... I hope you arenβt too shaken up?
No harm done ju-ju, the mud provided a very soft landing! Tripping on rocks and roots can really jolt you though - be careful out there!!πππ½ββοΈ
