Hot run in the sun

[Decker]

Went out on Saturday with the run group and almost turned back a few times. I was done. I was so hot. And lost. Went the wrong way for a couple of km after I lost track of the lead group. Haha, I know right? If it was not for for one of the other runners who had stopped, I may not have gone back. But we had some fun and completed it together. Wound up with around 16km including the run to the subway. I guess they can’t all be easy runs. 🙂

No it’s just some hill banking reinforcements along a pathway we took. But I think a banked track is what the photographer had in mind 😊 It only occurred to one of us to actually run up the bank

You’ve got a bit of a theme with some of these group runs - getting lost - but you always persevere and get through it with the help of another runner from your group. A great group, a great photo, and a respectable run.

Thanks Sask. I admit I was a bit embarrassed getting lost and arriving last, but yes this is a great group of people. The fellow who I met at the end had stopped to pick up fresh bagels for everyone which was a nice gesture.

Yes they chose a good filter for this pic. Works nicely with the wood grain.
