Look what I got for my birthday!

It's my birthday today and my parents got me some running gear that I have been desperate to get for ages! Some thermal leggings, running gloves and two running clip-on lights because I run in the dark quite a lot! So thrilled and can't wait to try them all out on my run tommorrow! (Sorry that the photo is of poor quality!)

Gloves needed for sure! It's that time of year again folks. I donned mine for the first time yesterday.

Lovely gear! Gorgeous duds to see you through the winter. Many more winters too I dare say. I've got Karrimor stuff I've worn to death since I started running. Lots of reflective bits on it I expect so you glow in the dark

Those thermal leggings and gloves came at the right time, it was 0 degrees outside when I went for my run this morning, the coldest I've ever run in!

Happy birthday- great gifts to help you with your running in the dark. You can add 10 degrees to the temperature if you are running . A friend and I were discussing this week that we’ve never been too cold running but we have been too warm. I always wear gloves in winter though.

Yeah I'm always freezing to start with but then I get too hot! I'm a musician so I'm all for wearing gloves when running in winter! 😃
