HM training week3 day4

Scary intervals. This was the day when I was going to really push and get some speed up. It wasn’t to be. I just wasn’t feeling it - a kind of background fatigue. And I had a strong wind to contend with for most of this run. The intervals in zones 4&5 were 5 minutes each which was hard. Also it was very humid, plus my chest is bad as the dog is moulting.

Sometimes Hidden all the things we're going to do when we set off just dont happen but that's ok you know, because you still went out, knowing really, in the background, that you might struggle, so maybe you should pat yourself on the back for this run because you still went...and you did it regardless...amazing lady you xxxx

How odd, I replied to this but it isnt there. What I said basically is how lovely you are, and how even though this was hard, I feel terrific now and understand why people get addicted to exercise xxx

Well done Flick...it sounds to have been tricky...I know one of my HM training runs felt like this but different reasons..I think it was a 16K one...rain and wind..

You did well to keep going...go steady and take care...xxx

Thank you Floss. I think it was just one of those runs. I’m constantly adjusting to a higher level of effort, getting tired before my body goes up another level. The watch dictates my effort- but, you know, that’s a good thing. I’m learning that I can push myself a lot harder than I spent the last nearly two years thinking I could! The Oxford half will be 11 days before my two year runniversary, which is grand. Onwards and upwards! Xxx
