HM training week 2 day 5

That was really hard. The whole 80 minute run was in zones 1&2. I was running so slowly in the warm up section that my watch kept auto pausing. But I do notice I’m beginning to be able to run faster in these lower zones and I feel quite buzzy now. And I managed over 6k at last!

Well done Flick - it's tough keeping the HR down! I am doing something similar and my "easy" runs originally felt so slow! But I hope it will work for both of us 😃

Thanks Richard 😊 I think it’s working as I’m speeding up a bit already in the lower two zones. And I’m enjoying it!

Good graphics Flick, your running is OK, just take all your runs slow and steady. After my 5k Parkrun yesterday I went a nice easy 14K cycle 🚴 ride this morning, saw 4 🏃 runners and 14 other cyclists.

Well the point of the HR training is the watch nags you very loudly if you exceed the zone. However, I have to do the intervals fast as that’s zones 4/5. But it’s all good stuff 😊
