I completed my second half marathon yesterday, Run Reigate! I ran 10k with my running club but the last 10k alone as I felt able to go a little faster!
Unfortunately I didn’t beat the time of my first, but this was an undulating course with a massive hill at mile 12!! 😫 Which I have to say, I walked most of after suffering a mini panic attack! I was helped by the pacers, then a Marshall! I recovered quickly and was off again! Another lady then offered to run with me for a bit! (Luckily I thanked the pacers and the lady at the end!!)
I struggled in parts mentally but pushed on! I finished strong with a sprint finish, into the park and to the finish line! 2:19 my previous was 2:11 but it’s all experience!
Hope you all had a great running wknd!

What a fab photo! Sounds like you had a lovely crowd to run with, pacers and marshalls too. Having a hill at Mile 12 is just uncalled for, but a great result nonetheless 😊
