First half marathon completed

So today my running journey continued.

May 2015 start C25K

August 2015 graduate C25K

July 2017 Bath Two Tunnels Half Marathon.

We have had a great weekend,shopping in Street at Clarks village on Saturday,lunch in Frome,Sunday run first half marathon.

Couldn't quite believe how sun and hot it was today,my only saving grace is that most of the race is within the tunnels.

Mini melt down after about 1k as unable to get any water out of my hydration vest,hubby to the rescue.

2 laps,well organised,drink/food stations along the root,water and electrolyte replacement drinks,flapjacks,bananas,Jaffa cakes,jelly beans.....even chocolate bars at the finish.

We really want to do sub 2:30 but finished in 2:32:10.....sure would of done it if I hadn't panicked at 1k

Was advised about this group and that I claim a half marathon badge?
