So today is 2 days before my one year anniversary of completing C25K and I just did a half marathon in 2 hours 20!! I’m super proud of myself and to be honest still can’t believe I can run A mile let alone 13.1! And my friend who got me into running got me a medal to celebrate, my first bit of bling!🎉
My first half marathon!: So today is... - Fun Beyond 10K & ...
My first half marathon!
Wow, that's amazing, well done!!!
I have awarded you our Half Marathon badge for good measure 😊😊😊
Congratulations to you Harvs9 on completing your first Half Marathon, 2 hours 20 minutes is a very respectable time, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement 🏃🏾 👍 🎓
Well done! I started in April and have just booked a place on a HM in June. Like you, I find it unbelievable!!
Congratulations, great time too! I don't think I'll be getting anywhere near that in the foreseeable future... there again I like playing in the hills ⛰️ and the forests 🌲🏃♀️ 🌲
Well done, I know how you feel because I did the same today in a similar time, at the tender age of 53; today is my birthday. Obviously I am really happy with the time but even more happy with the elevation gain at 428m. Happy days, and well done again......
Well done on completing your first HM - and in a great time! 👏👏👏 Lovely medal too!🏅😃
Fabulous! That's a fantastic achievement in such a short time of running. Well done!
That’s brilliant. Well done 👍🏼 😊
Well done, what an amazing achievement. Did you use a particular training plan to get to HM? I've set myself a goal of HM within my first year of running too. I've achieved 10 miles so far and can't decide whether to follow a plan to get to HM or try and achieve it without a set plan. If you have any tips on how to get to there I'd love to hear them. Well done again. Hope you're still on a high from your fab achievement 🙌.
No plan really! I’d built up to 10 miles by December and because of the weather hadnt really had the opportunity for longer runs this year, until last week when I just carried on and got to 10.5 miles. A friend at work who has ran for years and got me into running sets herself a challenge and runs a half marathon every month and she was doing hers on Saturday and asked me if I wanted to join her so I did! I think if you can do 10 miles you can do it, just keep putting one foot in front of the other and go for it👍
