Morning Ju and boy 😃 Sounds idyllic there. Just the thing for recharging the batteries
I had family drop by yesterday unannounced, plus I already had two dogs in tow, so it was a bit full on as I had to prepare meals and walk dogs. We managed to get a good stint in at the park with kids and dogs
I was up before the larks this morning, dogs walked and my bacon sarni eaten before dawn. I'll probably be asleep by lunch time. Plot visit abandoned but I hope to escape for a run later once the dogs have gone home. I will be ready I think
That looks like a gorgeous place to recharge the batteries and get some well deserved rest a la panther. Hope you're having a wonderful time.
We're away in the caravan, but it's been pouring since dawn and the forecast says it'll continue that way till dusk. I foresee a lot of chilling and book reading, with only a short run inserted somewhere.
Hi Ju. Been off mountain biking on a course called "follow the dog" in the midlands. It's a fantastic trail through a place called Cannock chase. It's changed so much over the years and hundreds of people go there. We did a cheeky little 12 miles yesterday. I was also out with my youngest boy. Glad you had a good time. It's always good to get out. Jase 🚴🏻
It looks idyllic down there in Cornwall. Such an atmospheric shot over the sea. Great to be spending time with your family.
MrsMarkyD has been away at camp, so it's been pretty domesticated for me. Notice the 10km run I snuck in, though
Hmm, take my buddy (with brain tumour) to Southampton hospital so that he can see his Dad (brain injury). Paperwork. Gardening. Mow lawns. Watch Dr Who with firstborn. Bayer Newbury 10km run, very hot and hard work. Bath. Strip beds & laundry. More laundry. Welcome second-born home from camp. Get chip-time, over 1 hour. Disappointment. Empty airing cupboard. Evening service. Make beds. Early night. Weeding. Scrub front patio. Help first born with 'A' level revision. Remove tick from second born. More paperwork. Plan Summer Fete and stall.
Looking forward to a quiet day back at work
I love the photos! We had our bank holiday Thursday last week. The weather was glorious, but I was mostly stuck at work. At least I have a terrace right outside my office, so I've been spending lots of time working in the sun.
Looks wonderful busy, busy here with the B&B (day 16 of 18 consecutive days - then next weekend away!!).
I used to be in your line of work Sue. I didn't run then though. You have to stick to your post don't you 😃 I miss it but I did get a guest a few weeks ago by default. One of my biggest regrets was losing my visitors book in the house move 😞
Lovely photos! Glad you're getting your much deserved rest.
This weekend I got trigger-happy over at the London2Brighton 2018 ultramarathon website. Oops.
whats that you have entered and ultra marathon?
Wow that weather looks fantastic !
On my bank holiday I went rubber duck racing! I even won one race and got a mug!
Photos or it didn't happen

see if that works!
My other half did a cakathon run as well, i added her picture in as well. Just so you can look at that medal!
I took my younger son to see Mat Fraser as Richard III... now hang on, there's a running link... Mat Fraser used to be one of the presenters of the BBC Ouch! disability podcast (he has foreshortened arms due to thalidomide) and that's my favourite running audio accompaniment (very funny, very down to earth). Even better I spotted his old co-presenter Liz Carr in the audience.
