I have just had 4 days of time out with my family.... which obvs means lots of RUNNING!! I so love the freedom of running on the beach... hard work but just so good. I feel very connected there if you get my drift, and it grounds me.
No world records, no heroics, just simple enjoyment. My sister did gymnastics as we ran along... flips, handstands, I did run, walk and a bit of dancing. Then a slap up brek in Godrevy caff with cake on the side...
This is my most fave place to run for my mental health..... do you have one that just hits that spot and sorts you out?

Now THAT is what running is all about! Beautiful. Glad you had an amazing time. I have never run by the seashore before, but would love to one day.
My mental health runs take me through my local woods. It’s the only time I turn my music/podcast off, as early mornings the birds are going crazy and as their song echoes through the trees it all feels so, well, primordial! And I love it. Though I jump every time a twig snaps in my vicinity. At 6:30am I am pretty much the only soul about (which I also love).
