I'm doing an extra 5km race the Farringford 5 on Saturday as part of the Isle of Wight Festival of Running, with my workmate doing her 2nd race, so hopefully will have 2 pretty medals at end of weekend! (they are new design this year and very lovely!!)
Itβs the third one in the Triple Hill Challenge iβm Doing We get a commemorative something for doing all three. I do the second one on 1st July (which is already on the events calendar)
The third one is only a 10k but itβs so βard π¬ A lot more interest from running clubs this year I notice. Itβs going to be very competitive I think π
- test the legs and the mind on a HM with a fast start before really putting myself into attempting to break the 90' in September
- don't waste the good training I put in the Lux marathon with the Lux marathon results. I need something better than that after all the training I put in...
In preparation for the Belfast half marathon, I had to entered a 10K. So I will race over that distance (for the first time!!!!) on the second of September at the Lagan side 10K
29 July - Brackenfell HM (I will be marshaling this race (my club is hosting), however there is a marshal run the following day TBC) roadrunning.co.za/event/Bra...
Hi Ju-Ju, 1st September I am doing the RAF run 10km, 29th September I am doing the Windsor Women's 20k and Glow In the Park 5km also on the 29th September (whoops) and then I am doing the Great South Run 10 miles on the 21st October (I think). First big runs so nervous but excited
Oooh I love perusing the calendar... so many races!
...And I am not the only one choosing to race the day before my birthday, and give a gift to myself of a fitter life! Though my race isn't quite as exciting and glamorous as DiveMonkey 's Cape Town marathon! It is such a wonderful city to visit - hope you enjoy it!
