Good to meet you too jSS! , the t- shirt was from the Milton Keynes half in March! And that slimmer person was a reward from C25k, nearly 2 yrs on .  Still amazes me!

Good luck for the ballot - my place was third time lucky! I am doing fine now thanks, it was just the first couple of days after that were a bit painful. Went for a fairly speedy 8k yesterday and it felt good, so I think I am back to normal. Only doing 2 runs a week for a bit though, and cycling/walking. I will get back to 3 runs in a couple of weeks.

great that your back out there, all that winter training and now the sun brings it's warmth - 2 runs and cycling is good maintenance in my world  (following a hard training 'season' and massive marathon).... Lovely badge there!

Aw thanks roseabi, I think son, whose sunken into the sofa producing A level work, took a very complimentary photo ... But the tshirt is fun..although I felt  a tad self-conscious wearing it with no hoody this evening because it was so warm. Still , it did motivate me to do a fair tempo run😜

Hi aliboo,  yes, I like  time rather than distance so ran until the sun set (which was a tad longer than expected)!  That's my long one for the week - &  I love races with freebie t- shirts!
