I'm creating a running playlist, together with the team at Inverness Half Marathon, and I wondered if you lovely folk have some ideas on what to add to this list.

When doing long training runs towards 10k and then the Great South Run, I played tracks from Chariots of Fire.
I usually just have my normal playlist on shuffle, but here are a few that I always note if they come on while I'm running - either because they are running related or they seem to have the perfect tempo for me

“Running up that Hill” by Kate Bush is a cracking song to run to - a good running beat and makes me smile if it comes on when I am actually running up a hill! 😂

Oh lots of options. Currently listening to Arcade Fire "Everything Now" album, and Snow Patrol "Wildness" album. Also, The Tragically Hip, Weakerthans and Lumineers all feature in the list too.
A very random playlist that just keeps growing. Occasionally gets a pruning. Best played loud and with little need of thought. It has got me through long sessions of indoor training and tractor mowing!
