I went out yesturday morning and smashed my 10k PB. I was all fired up after Bath and excited about training for a sub 2 hour HM after Brighton.

I did it in 56.36

It's taken me 2 years to get this so I'm really happy!!! what works for me is bursts of speed followed by short rest periods, it's very effective.

I'm a very happy Panther !!

It sure doesn't look like you've run a 56minute 10km. Where is the red face and sweat dripping from your brow? :-)

Oh JJ you put me to shame. I could barely walk down the stairs yesterday let alone run 10k (never mind in a PB) you have humiliated me into girding my loins and setting off on a very gentle jog with the dogs 👏

10 k in under an hour! Gulp - seems incredible to us newbies. But I've got 2 years to catch up and it's posts like this that make us get up and get out there.

Well done!
