Am crossing fingers that my projected injections will happen on November 4th. Yesterday I received in the post two sets of duplicated letters, one confirming the injections at a hospital two hours away (see my earlier posts on the catastrophe in Edinburgh), the others telling me my injections have been postponed to April 11th 2024 (sic). I shall try to sort that out tomorrow morning... Meanwhile, I've also received a confirmation of a flu jab on Friday 1st November. I don't usually have any reaction to a flu jab - is there any problem with getting the eye injections so soon afterwards?

hi there no difference at all having the flu jab or Covid jab or both so rest assured on that front
I had both flu and covid vaccination day before Vabysmo injection (9th/10th Oct), no problem for me (other than slight arm ache both sides)

Hello ElviraKate,
It is generally suggested to leave 7 days between a Covid/flu jab and an eye injection, so that if there are any side effects, they know which one to attribute them to.
Check with your macular clinic. They should be able to advise.
