Anyone find that they are more tired than usual after avastin injections? This is very uncommon for me, and I do not think I am stressed about the process( 4th injection, both eyes), but I have had to travel a lot for the injections. I notice it for several days. Rather subtle and it is not listed in general side effects so curious to know if anyone else finds this happening.

tired after injections?
Hi 2see
Yes, injection fatigue! Some people experience this tiredness more than others. If you consider that injections into the eye are rather like an injury and a shock - though short lived - to the body, even if we cope well enough with them. The body needs to heal and can take it out of you. I have noticed this myself, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending on how I generally feel. On top of that, if you have to travel a lot then that may well exasperate the situation. Make sure you eat a good healthy diet; it will go a long way towards your general health. Best wishes
Yes, exactly as ayayay says.
Yes. I got eyelia injections and after every procedure I felt tired and short of breath for a few days. Probably a common side effect.
Yes I have fatigue the day of the injection of Avastin and sleep for a couple of hours when I get home.
I do feel tired after an injection but mainly it is my eyes that feel tired and I think it is the scan of super bright lights that affect me. It's like the eyes take a while to recover from the assault on their rids and cones! A couple of times I went straight to having the injection without the scan and it felt very different . . No tiredness at all. I just have to keep my eyes shut and sleep more than usual.
Just received my first injection of Avastin and am feeling very sleepy, so I googled and found this group! You’ve answered my question, thank you.
Yes yes yes. Can't keep my eyes open and very tired for a few days
I have this same effect with Eyela. I can sleep 16 hours. Happens every time.
