Hi Isabella. I wouldn't like to say about that. I would think you should see the person who asked you to come back but I'm no expert. How do you normally get there? Can you organise some community care transport if you can't get a lift or the bus? Councils can sometimes arrange these for you or point you in the right direction if you explain why you need it. Sorry I can't be any more help. I hope you can get something sorted. x

I have a low regard for opticians. They are good at sellimg frames but otherwise pretty hit and miss.

Take the trip to be sure.

Ask your eye clinic. They can check with the doc who asked to see you.

I'm betting they will want you to go to them.

Good Morning Isabella123,

It is likely it'd be best to go back to the original person who looked at your eye, that way they can accurately determine what is going on and if any action is needed.

Could the hospital provide patient transport?

You can also ring deaflblind uk - they have helped people with transport during the lockdown and could help here too - 0800 132320

Best Wishes,

Becky

Ouch Isabella, poor you!

I would also go back to see the specialist if you can - unless your eye has improved a little, and the specialist can recommend a good optician.

Good luck.
