Good morning, I has an injection yesterday and it hurt. I still can't open that eye and it is constantly weeping. I also have a headache. My question is...I am due to have a shingles jab this afternoon...should I cancel it? Many thanks.

I'd ask the clinic where you're getting the shingles jab.

You are clearly concerned about your eye! Call the eye clinic and ask to see a consultant

I don't know about the shingles jab - but you're the first person I've seen mention the weeping eye and not being able to open it!!! I'm not sure what drug he is using but have been getting the same one for well over a year and injections for 4 years. I dread going now because this has just started happening - but about every 3rd time - I have no bad reaction at all!!! I always get the needle in the morning so it's a long rough day and evening! But it's always fine the next morning!
