Do check with your doctor - at my hospital they don't like you to travel straight after an injection- it's not the flying but there is an infection risk with injections and they like you to be around so you can get to hospital swiftly. I think they relax after a week but of course infections can show themselves two or three weeks later so check about your particular case. Glare problems wouldn't be good if you were driving,,,
Hi. I fly regularly after injections and have had no problems what so ever.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
I discussed with my ophthalmologist as when I first had injections I was traveling a lot on business
We agreed I should probably wait a few days until the hole had closed, but that after about 5 days up to a month was probably the best time to travel, as I couldn't have another treatment in that space even if I bled (I never did)
