why does medication work at night but not during the day time

i took my medication night time and i felt amazing back to my very old self, but when i take it in the morning like i meant to, it dont seem to make any difference...

i just want to know why would this be

It depends on what medication you mean. For example, steroids are best taken early in the morning to coincide with the way the adrenal glands release the natural steroids. Other medication may have similar methods of delivery and optimum times of taking. Plus each person assimilate medication in a particular way, so what works for you might not necessarily work for others. Speak to your doctor about it - if the medication you are taking is intended to work during the day and it isn't, then the doctor will need to make some adjustments to the treatment to compensate.
