Night sweats?: Having really bad night sweats, is... - LUPUS UK
Night sweats?
I am not on meds, but experience night sweats. Fever, night sweats and chills are common symptoms of lupus.
Night sweats are also a side effect of Naproxen (an anti-inflammatory)
could also be your age,But for me its Meds. read the side effects with what tablets you are on,ask your Doctor on your next visit!!
Hey, night sweats for me are usually a symptom of a flare, you should mention it to your GP, take care.
I put my sweats, often first thing in the morning when I get up, down to Lupus, they're uncomfortable. I have a floor standing fan in my bedroom and a small clip-on one by my pc...both help quite a lot
Also you dont say how old you are....long before SLE my severe night sweats were because of the menopause...thank goodness those are gone...
Hi Pie, Lupies are known to have their feet 'uncovered' at night. Night (and day) sweats can also be due to thyroid problems. Hope your GP can help sort you out. xxx
Thanks everyone for the advice. I am 40, have DLE 15 yrs and unfortunately progressed to SLE last yr, they have also said I have SCLE, PLE(really photo sensitive) thyroid disease, alopecia, scarcoidosis, depression, raynauds, probably more but can't think with Lupie fog, so I'm on a cocktail of drugs xx
