Ok anyone interested in coming to Sheffield meeting, please can you let me know how you feel about the following...
1 Date of meeting - I was thinking that Saturday would be the best day as most people tend to be free on the weekends. Am going to suggest Saturday 23 February as a possibility, or Saturday 23 March.
2 Time of meeting - As this is the first (hopefully!) meeting, I suggest we each pay for what we have food/drink wise. With this in mind, do we want to meet for lunch or just a coffee and chat? I want this to be available to as many as possible and don't want to cause any financial strain on anyone so again I would appreciate your thoughts.
3 Paul has said that he will advertise the meeting on Facebook/twitter/blog, so I think it would be nice if we have a catchy name for the meeting rather than just 'Sheffield Meeting' lol... Please, if you can think of anything let me know as this is not my strong point!
Email addresses/contact details would be useful for me so I can keep you informed, thanks to those that have already given them xx

I boxed my details sweetie. March is great time I am still in a bad flare up to February meeting I look like a zombie reject from the thriller video at the moment, so February is no no.
Hi, March OK for me, but must warn you it gets really hectic sometimes on Sat. around the station when it is the football season, as we have two teams and you can bet that one or the other are playing. Asking round about places, but we would need an estimate. There is a coffee shop in the station if everyone is arriving by train. Parking for the station is a Nightmare and a fair way to walk. Will get my friends to put their thinking hats on as I have not been into Sheffield for a number of years due to mobility problems.
Re-Name Lupie Lunchers or Laughing Lupies ! talk soon.xx
Hi Hazel, the only reason I suggested somewhere around the station was because I was concerned about people being able to access the group. I was thinking of one of the local hotels, the Jury's Inn, which has an all day Costa Coffee Bar where we can go along and have a coffee and for those that want lunch, that is available too. From what I can see its not too far from the station. But am open to suggestions
Quite a walk from the station but there is a Multi story car park opposite and one at the back of it. I think there is a bus from the station, I will try and find out and message you. other than that if two or three are comming by train they could meet and get a taxi and share the costs. xx
Would love to join you all if you don't mind an old one, hope grannies are welcome. March is good can drive up.Will forward my E-Mail to you.Look forward to meeting you all.
Hi, March is ideal for me too I love some of the names mentioned for the group above. Shanti thank goodness you said that as I am a granny too........(not in my head though....there I am still in my early twenties lol). I am happy for either eats or coffee/cake and happy to go with the majority vote.
For me either date is not during the school holidays (as we are often away then) so both are ideal. Think this is a fab idea and thanks Silvermist for organising this xx
Hi pleased to hear that I'm not the only twenty year old granny about these days, it's so funny how one feels younger than we are, I wish my body would catch up and notice we are going back the other way now. good luck hope to see everyone at the meeting.
Hi peeps, another 20something granny here too and either date is good for me, my son lives in Sheffield and my daughter in law works there so I could ask her for suggestions of a meeting place if it helpsx
