I am delighted to announce that our 4th meeting will be held on Saturday 3rd February from 10am until 12 midday, at the Committee Room at Crundale Community Hall, Crundale, near Haverfordwest.

The Committee Room can be found by going through the wooden gate into the play park area, to the left of the main entrance, and following the path to the side wooden door. The room we use is on the left.

Refreshments are provided.

We are looking forward to welcoming members old and new.

Please contact me with any questions.

I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there.

Good - just wish the weather here would buck up a bit!!!!

It’s been a very cold week here. Unusual for us, we’re used to mild weather by the sea. I’ve struggled to stay warm. Two thermal vests plus layers and two pairs of thermal socks haven’t been enough for me. Feel constantly cold, especially hands and feet. What’s your weather like? Cold too? X

Suppose it depends how you look at it. Been hovering round about freezing for the last week with 0.5C to 3C as daily highs and nights about the same. Last night went down to -3C - but that is relatively "warm" for us at this time of year as we are about the same altitude as the top of Snowden! I was in Innsbruck today - and it was +6C and sunshine - really very spring-like!

Hi Wendy,

That's great to hear. Would you like me to help promote this event as I have done before?

Yes please Paul, that would be great. Still trying to reach all lupus sufferers in Pembs, I know there must be more.

I will schedule posts for our social media accounts and I will write to our members in the area again, seeing as it is a new year.

That would be fantastic! Thanks Kevin. I will let the group know. I was contacted by someone else yesterday, so now 16, I think. Plus I received the letter Paul sent out this morning too, so hopefully word is still spreading.

I’m really looking forward to our meeting on Saturday.

I have been contacted by 3 more potential members in January. So really hoping for a big turn out!

For new members:

We meet in the smaller Committee Room (not the main hall) at Crundale Community Hall, Crundale, near Haverfordwest.

For SAT NAV users the postcode for the hall is SA62 4DF.

The Committee Room can be found at the far left of the main building. If you go through the gate to the left of the main entrance and follow the path to the wooden door, you will find the Committee Room at the end of the corridor.

10am-12 midday.

Refreshments are provided.

See you there.

Wendy 💜
