Hi All :)

After having to postpone our first meeting in March due to horrible weather I am pleased to let you know that the meeting has been reorganised for

Saturday 27 April at 11.30am.

The venue will be the

Premier Inn and Thyme Restaurant

19 Angel Street

Sheffield

South Yorkshire

S3 8LN

For those coming from out of the area, here are a few hints in respect of traveling arrangements.

Meadowhall Park and Ride S9 1EP

Trains to and from Sheffield Station run regularly at a cost (according to National Rail Enquiries) of £2.70. Parking is free for public transport users.

Parkway Park & Ride S2 5BD

Get the yellow tram (or possibly the purple one) at Cricket Inn Road and get off at the third tram stop, Castle Square. Look towards where the tram is going uphill, on the right hand side you will see Primark which is on Angel Street corner. Coming back get tram from Castle Square, heading to Meadowhall (yellow or purple) and get off where you got on at Cricket Inn Rd and you will be back at the Park and Ride. All trams are wheelchair friendly. Trams run every 10 minutes. I’m not sure of the costs for this one sorry.

PLEASE DO NOT be tempted to park at Crystal Peaks at there is a strict time park system.

When you arrive in Sheffield there will be a few of us meeting at the Station at 11am at Caffee Ritazza, so if you would like to meet us there you would be most welcome. Grab a tie or a carrier bag to attach to your bag so that we can identify you :)

If you are not able/do not wish to meet us at the station, please note that the SuperTram stops at the BACK of the Train station, you walk over the bridge and get off at Castle Square stop. Look towards where the tram is going uphill, on the right hand side you will see Primark which is on Angel Street corner. That’s where you are heading!

Thanks to everyone who helped me to gather the above information, hope it helps :)

Very much looking forward to meeting you all :)

Sam x
