I've had 2 successful pregnancies. My lupus was pretty dormant while I was pregnant & the only major concern I had was having both babies prem, 1 at 4 weeks early & 1 at 6 weeks early but both born very healthy & they still r, although they're 10 & 8 now. I also felt more 'well' than I had in absolutely ages after both pregnancies so if any1 ever wants a surrogate, give me a shout lol!
I am currently 24 weeks pregnant with lupus/mixed connective tissue disease diagnosis. this is my second and the first is now 5 years old. that pregnancy went well and I kept well after for a year or so. I did have preeclampsia at the end of it and was induced 2wks before due date but all ok.
i am being heavily monitored (was last time too) - just lots of obstetric appointments and extra scans from now on - I think the main risks I have are - miscarriage/high blood pressure/kidney issues/clotting problems.
My kidney function is monitored regularly (blood tests/urine tests) - Im guessing theyll want to do the same for you - are you attending an obstetric clinic?
my clotting issue is separate from lupus diagnosis and they feel risk is small so only getting injections after the birth
