Hiya,

If you check out the Changing Faces website they can hopefully advise a product to help with camouflage. changingfaces.org.uk/Skin-C...

Hi Lou, do you mean the lupus rash? if so i use to have it real bad on my face and hands and sometimes my legs. this was about 10 years ago, i was given a drug called 'mepacrine' it was a yellow tablet with a bit of residu and made my urine go a darker yellow:/ i was also given a steroid cream called cutivate for my skin (i did not use lots of it though as it was steroid based and steroid creams thin the skin). I hope that helps as your Doc. Furher what paul has suggested is also very good.

The other thing you may want to try is a complete block foundation they use it for photograpy and photo shoots a brand i would reccomend is 'illamaska' they are a make up brand and are a bit uncoventional but if you give them a call they should be able to give you a trail and help you cover up. Your wedding day is soo important i soohope you can get it sorted. I will try and see if i can find anything else out, i am a beauty and holistic therapist so i will ask around as some of my friends do professional photoshoots.

Take care

Thanks guys. I don't think its the lupus, it seems to be the raynauds since it goes red then blue then purple. I'm on circulation tablets but they're not helping the skin go normal colour :( ill ask my doctor friday and see if he can help in any way if not it'll be skin makeup :) can't live like this anymore its depressing.

Hiya, I swear by Cover FX. It's available in House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols and online. I was recommended this by a dermatologist and it is apparently the best cover up make up going, although a little pricey but well worth it. The make up also has an anti-inflammatory in it as well as a high spf ranging from 30-50. Also i would suggest you go in the shop to find your shade etc. I went to Harvey Nichols in Manchester and was absolutely amazed, the girl did a fantastic job and my butterfly rash was completely hidden and i didn't look like i was wearing loads of makeup either. My butterfly rash wash pretty severe at the time she covered it easily. Please go and have a look as I really do think this makeup is fantastic.

Try a cucumber in the blender , to a thick paste , takes the red out.

Hope it helps
