lUMBER EPIDURAL: Hi Everyone had a lumber epidural... - LUPUS UK
lUMBER EPIDURAL
They can make you feel extremely unwell Jenny and I would tend to assume so.
Thanks tiger lily feel a bit better today but very tired still resting
Oh you have my sympathy It is the most awful thing I didn't have have night sweats but the headaches were abysmal I couldn't lift my head off the pillow for about a week nothing would shift it Then like you I was so tired On a positive note I've never experienced pain like it even after having having two boys so hang in and take care
I had an LP January & also had the sweats etc. It DOES take a while 2 get over. Totally agree with Voutton about the headaches, which r actually caused by a cerebral Spinal fluid leak. The body SHOULD sort itself out & repair it, but sods law, after spending a week staring at the ceiling I had 2 go back into hospital & have a blood patch done 2 repair it. Thankfully, so far so good, but if a LP is EVER suggested 2 me again I will have great pleasure in telling the Doc concerned 2 'Naff Off' in not such polite terms ;0)
Hi Voulton I was lucky no headaches just the sweats much better last night thankfully at least I have no leg pain which is so great
Hi Sher78 I had no headaches just these awful night sweats, slept well last night and have no leg pain which is great, you poor thing sounds like you had a very raw deal with yours, I have had about 4 now they allow me to have one every 6 Months and so far they have eased my leg pain which is great
