finger pain: i seriously can nt return to my gp... - LUPUS UK
finger pain
If it is the 3rd finger then it is likely to be trigger finger -viking claw or to give it its proper name Duputrens contracture. Caused by a thickening of the palmer facia.
And yes you can return to your GP,
i have pain in my index finger on my left hand, it hurts when i bend it and it clicks, once the pain is over it will be ok for a while.
i went to the doctor as she said it will propably be trigger finger when we spoke on the phone.
it turned out that it is not trigger finger like she thought.
i have had an x ray and now i am going for a scan as she is not sure what it is.
if i were you i would go and get it checked as my gp say's it could well be mu lupus that is giving me the pain,
i hope you get sorted and hopefully i will find out what my finger problem is,

it s my wedding finger
I often get pain in various joints in my fingers. It comes and goes over time, without swelling. I just assumed it was part of the lupus picture as it's worse when I'm in a flare. I hope you get the answers you need xx
