Have a look online about erythromelalgia. It can flare up this time of year. It can be very mild or severe and effect more of the body. It might not be relevant to you. The photos online can be a bit vivid in my opinion as I have global EM but the rash isn't present like displayed online. But the sensation of burning is definitely there and is most uncomfortable. Just an idea.
Thanks 🌷. I had an infusion for Erythromelagia couple weeks ago for my feet but didn’t work .You’ve raised interesting point though as my feet started off feeling “funny” and “tingle “ before they turned into E so maybe hands are going same way x
Yes, but they have definitely got better and more effective over time. I couldn't weight bear before my infusion. Once I've recovered from the horrid side effects I have significantly reduced pain for months.
I have erythromelalgia in my hands, this is one of the symptoms I told my rheumatologist I have in my hands that turn red and hot. I didn’t know the feeling under the nails is also due yo erythromelalgia. What is the medication that you take for it? What is that infusion Tiggywoos? I only take HCQ since April.
Sadly no medication for E as gabapentin and pregbag made me feel really low in mood .I’m on Mepacrine and hydroxy which helps with rash and knee /wrist pain but nothing else xx
