Hi

are you on a high dose of steroids? For over twelve months, while on a high dose of steroids I really felt as if my body had taken over and wondered if it would ever be the same again. My brain felt as if it was too large for my head and would burst out....the pressure was awful.

Consequently the brain fog took my ability to even work out words to read which was a bitter blow when I have been a public speaker inmost o the world.

The good news is that it does pass and now that I am down to 6mg I am reading again although in speech I do forget, or say the odd word wrong..... which can be hilarious.

Be patient although it can be very frightening.

I trust that this time will pass quickly....all the best

i also have a heavy feeling in my head. i have been on 60mg of steriod, then reduced to 40mg now it is 30mg. so my dear i know hw u feel and hope u get better

Short and to the point, I like your poem. I understand how frustrating it can be for your body not to be able to keep up.

I think it's great you can express your frustration.
